The Story
We have a passion for Spanish made cutlery and for keeping the tradition alive in the region of Castilla La Mancha. Spanish knifemaking heritage took shape in the middle ages and continues to this day. By combining both form and function, we aim to share this story, by paying homage to the region and meeting the modern demands of everyday use.
The Tagus model is Castillo's largest. It is an all purpose model for bigger jobs. The handle has contours for fingers resulting in an improved grip. Each knives comes with a felt bag for storage. The Tagus is named after the longest river in Iberia which traverses Spain and Portugal and has played an import part in Spanish history.
